Hari Raya is a celebration for many people but not for all.
I was so shocked to know this morning that the Bernama TV cameraman that got killed during humanitarian mission in Somalia is a husband of someone I know very well. Norazrina Jaafar or Kak Ina as I call her, arwah Noramfaizul's wife is a familiar face to our family. She is my aunt's best friend since their study in ITM and our house was always a place for them to do gathering since my aunt was staying with us then. That was how it was when I was about 15 years old.
Today, with two adorable boys that are still small, Kak Ina become a single parent. I could not imagine how it feels like losing someone we love dearly on days where other people are feasting. Let us pray Kak Ina handle this with patience and may Allah give her the strength to face all this. To arwah, Al-Fatihah and may he rest in peace.
